Reamers Applications
A reamer is a cylindrical or conical rotary cutting tool used to enlarge and finish holes, to a precise measurement and finish. There are two types of reamers, hand and machine called chucking reamers. All reamers have either straight or helical flutes where chips, cooling and lubricating fluid pass through. Straight Flute Carbide Reamers
Designed for use in CNC machines, screw machines, lathes and drill presses. Straight flute reamers are most commonly used where tight tolerances are needed. Carbide tools can run faster than HSS tools and withstand higher temperatures while providing excellent wear resistance for high-performance applications. Straight Flute HSS & Cobalt Reamers

Right Hand Spiral Reamers

Expansion Style Reamers

Taper Pipe Reamers
Used to prepare a hole for tapping with a pipe tap. These reamers are constructed with a square end on the shank to be used with a standard tap wrench. These will reduce the workload for the tap keeping even material removal from the top to the bottom of the tapered hole. Taper Pin Reamers
